Premier Power with Provily Racing and Bas Schouten claimed the 2011 Benelux Formula Ford Championship this weekend at Zandvoort in Holland. Team mate Michel Florie finished third.

Premier Power also finished second and third with Provily Racing in the Dutch Formula Ford Championship with Bas Schouten and Michel Florie.

This is the second time Premier Power has won the Benelux title following success in 2008 with KTG Racing and Simon Knap.

Provily Racing team mate Joey Van Splunteren showed good pace in qualifying securing pole position for the three races, Michel and Bas lining up directly behind him. Race one was won by Bas with Steijn Schothorst second and Jelle Beelen third. Race two was won by Joey Van Splunteren with Michel Florie second and Steijn Schotorst third. Race three was a Provily Racing clean sweep with Joey Van Splunteren taking the win and Michel letting Bas through to take second and the Benelux title. Michel finished third.

The team now head to Brands Hatch in October for the Formula Ford Festival, the event won last year by Premier Power with Dennis Lind in the Fluid Motorsport Developments Van Diemen.
